Kohl's has selected Bar Code Graphics as their barcode certification resource for GS1-128 logistics labels. Due to their reliance on automatic scanning sortation within their distribution centers, Kohl's expects 100% compliance.

Suppliers should send a physical sample of each type of GS1-128 shipping label they use when shipping to Kohl's. Ongoing certification is recommended for new and existing suppliers.

What Counts as a Ship Point?
A ship point is any location that ships product to Kohl's: your own warehouse or factory, a distribution center, or a third-party logistics provider shipping on your behalf. Each location prints its own labels, so each one has to be certified separately. If you ship from three locations, you certify three ship points.

Pre-Register

Enter your facility address, contacts and a list of the samples you plan to send.

Pay

Pay by credit card during registration for the fastest turnaround. Paying by check? Send it with your samples and allow one extra day.

Ship Your Samples

Print the submission form from registration and include it in the box. The lab address is on the form. Samples without a form won't be tested.

Get Your Results

Your primary and secondary contacts receive results by email. Failed samples come with images, scan reports and the corrections needed.

Samples that fail must be corrected and resubmitted, and each resubmission is charged the standard fee.
